WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
We are looking for a Senior Producer to join our team at Next Level Games! The Senior Producer will play a key leadership role in the development of high-quality games, managing both people and projects while ensuring that creative vision, technical execution, and production goals align. This role is ideal for someone with a background in game development who has grown into a production role, bringing a strong understanding of game creation and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead multi-disciplinary teams and track the development of features and assets from concept to creation; Manage development schedules, resources, and budgets and ensure development stays on track and within scope.
- Strategy and Planning: Support Leads and Directors in setting the development strategy, and planning Milestones and Sprints; Hold the team accountable to timelines, estimates and goals.
- Problem Solving: Apply hands-on knowledge of game development and work closely with creative and technical leads to solve challenges and deliver high quality results.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and roadblocks; Devise mitigation strategies and support the team to find solutions and keep development moving forward.
- Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with the production team and craft experts to ensure timely hand-offs and effective cross-discipline communication.
- Processes and Workflows: Leverage project management expertise and past production experience to assist in establishing and continuously improving development workflows and processes.
- Publisher Communications: Provide regular status updates and facilitate the flow of information and feedback between the development team and the publisher.
- Team Health and Morale: Ensure work is appropriately scoped and foster a collaborative environment where team members are motivated and capable of delivering their highest quality work.
- People Management: Partner with leads and HR to create growth opportunities and manage the performance of team members; Provide coaching and mentorship to more junior members of the Production team.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Expert knowledge of project management concepts and their application in game development.
- 5+ years of experience in console/PC game development, including the development of a title through from pre-production to release.
- Having transitioned from a craft role (e.g., game designer, artist, engineer, etc..) into production is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Passion for games and a deep understanding of what makes engaging, high-quality gameplay experiences.

Please note this is currently a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week at our Vancouver studio.
The hiring range for this position is $122, 000 - $165, 000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
